Fun with letters & sounds (phonics)

Service Description

• To explore the principles, skills and terminology which supports effective practice related to Letters and Sounds; • To become familiar with all aspects of Letters and Sounds Phase 1 and their vital role in the pre-school years; • To build confidence in collaboratively planning and delivering play based activities which promote children’s phonological development; • To explore ways in which enabling environments (inside and out) can support children’s progress in early literacy skills.
